During the long winter months on this most Northwesterly coast, the brewers at Fort George contemplated the meaning of IPA. What is an IPA? Where does it come from? How do you create the perfect union of form, function, and hops? The answer - as it often is at Fort George - was collaboration. Not collaboration within one brewery, or even between two. This one is a 3-Way. A 3-Way IPA. Our 2024 3-Way IPA is a glorious golden elixir perfectly calibrated for maximum enjoyment, brought to you by the brewers at Brujos, Ghost Town, and Fort George.

Pale gold, zippy, zesty, tangerine and watermelon with bitterness on deck and a vibrant, balanced finish.

Hops: Simcoe, Mosaic, Columbus Cryo

Malt: GW 2-Row, Rahr Pils, Weyermann Acidulated

Yeast: WLP001

I doubt it was 2024, but it was a WC IPA 3-Way with Brujos and Ghost Town. Gold colour, bright, no head. Minty, herbaceous hop nose, lots of bitterness, clean balanced malt, some berry notes.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice crisp biscuit malt with resinous piney hops, grapefruit pulp, light dank notes, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light pine needles, light grapefruit pulp, pleasant and smooth.

473mL can, pours a clear copper golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of bright dank hops, oodles of pine, and some oily resins. Flavour is super dank and piney, with big pot-like hops, oily resinous hops, plenty of pine, and just enough sweet malt to back. Man, that's some potent dank and piney hops going on. Delicious.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Clear golden pour, one finger foamy white head. Dank, hoppy aroma, citrus. Taste is weedy and dank, citrus with notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange and pineapple. Dank hops are persistent throughout the session, oily, resinous finish. Nice creamy feel too.

Can from Ale Arsenal. Pours perfectly clear light gold with small white head that fades to a ring of small bubbles and slight patterns. Aroma is orange and tangerine. Slight dank aroma. Flavor is overt dank and moderate citrus. Dank really comes on the flavor vs. the aroma. Moderate low bitterness. Leaves moderate low sweetness on the tongue.
