Slight haze, yellow. Sour nose with some weird herbal thing. That’s kalmus? White currant acidity. Taste has extra sourness, quite funky with some fruits. Thin mouthfeel and white currant sourness. Kalmus is there as well. Overall interesting and it really depends what mindset do you have when approaching this beer. As a take on a sour it’s definitely interesting.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 237 - BB 29/09/2017, from deTolly Õllebaar, 20170801) The beer poured amber and hazy. No head. Aroma had sweetness, tart berries and sourness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, sourness, berries and bitterness. Aftertaste was thin, tart and mildly bitter. A thin tart brew. Not bad but not impressive either.

Bottle. Has a lot of similarities with a traditional nordic ale like sahti. Sweet and sour with notes of bakning yeast, herbs and juniper. Medium bitterness.

33cl bottle from Kaubamaja, Tallinn. Pours hazy golden without much head to speak of. Strange fruity and yeasty aroma with some herbal notes, wild berries and sour dough. Interesting enough, somewhat refreshing, but not too pleasant. It is wild, but not very sour. Carbonation on the soft side. Weird, but still fun enough to try. --- Beer merged from original tick of Metsik WILD Edition on 14 Dec 2016 at 22:16 - Score: 6
