On tap at BitterCreek. Deep dark brown pour with a thin tan skin of bubbles. Terrific soft woody boozy maple medley. Lightly toasted malts and more maple booziness. Smooth with a little ABV burn. Delicious

12oz bottle from Bert's. Opaque brown pour, small bubbly beige head. Sweet boozy aroma, hint of maple, smoke. Taste has a little roasty smoked malts, which is quickly overcome by sweet maple and a mild boozy edge. Creamy feel.

(Bottle) clear, bright amber brown colour with a small brown head, creamy palate; aroma of maple syrup, toffee; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

bottle - while generally not my fav style, I truly enjoyed this - smoke and maple and a nice dark beer. Very good

12.7 oz bottle from the brewery. Aroma is oak, booze, ash, cocoa, caramel, raisin, coconut. Pours dark brown to black with a one finger beige head with good retention. Taste is sweet, lightly smoky, finishing dry. Nice coconutty barrel aged flavors. Really tasty.

375 mL bottle poured at Matt's. Thanks for the share! A delicious brew here, and a good one in the standout substyle of maple beers. So smooth and tasty for a bigger brew. Dense appearance, a dark cola brown, tan foam head. Not a whole lot of smoked character for me, but it shows up late. I think its an appropriate amount to just give it an impression to pair with the maple. Such a smooth brew. A touch dry. Barrel linger. Really good stuff.
