Can. Beer Stop Dronfield. 1.5? Silly twat. Hazed pale gold. Slim messy white foam stays the course. Bit of leggy action. Nose has melon skin. Tinned pineapple. Bit of pine. Taste is moderately bitter and pithy. Some cereal sweetness. Could be cleaner overall. Moderate bitterness to finish. Decent enough.

Can, clear pale. Pop the can to reveal a slightly odd pissy smelling perfume hop flower. Pour is almost clear & pale in my big fat mug. Taste is bitter hops of course, standard for the style but there seems to be a little less bitterness compared to most rude ass domestic IPA out there. Also, it seems to hide its near 7% alky content rather well. This also has a decent amount of co2, which distracts from the fact its a nasty ass style. In the middle, its still giving me that IPA backlash. Finally in the end, when I'm drinking the last drop out of the can; I'm contemplating oh well, just another of ten billion other IPA out there which all practically taste the same, just a different label. I think lots of these brewers make the same recipe but give it a new name to attract all the IPA lemmings out there who think they are trying a new beer, hehehh.

Tip Tap draught, 6/3/23. Clear brass, small, white head moderately retained. Smells like yellow fruits a la peeper, not quite lunch. Good malt character like MBC. Honey/white bread. Clean, with strong pine accents. Soft, malty, good attenuation. Piney, dry, white bread. Nice of Allagash not to buy in to the hazy game, I guess? Literally ripping off MBC is a bit uninteresting and unimpressive, though. A bit too much pine and breadiness on the finish for me but it's clean and balanced for the most part.
