Re-Rating (previous 6.8) Review according to the BJCP 2015 guidelines (style 15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L05/19 (BBF 31/05/2021). AROMA: medium roasted aromas with a coffee-and-cream character. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. medium light-brown and creamy head with no retention. TASTE: medium roasted flavor with a coffee character and slightly sweet. medium bitterness with a dry and sligtly burnt finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an irish-like stout with average characteristics but with no head retention.

Bottle at a tasting, beers courtesy of Cuso. Slightly overcarbonated, otherwise loads of roasted malty flavours, coffee, chocolate. Well attenuated, dry, thin bodied. Tasty, easy drinking. Very good.

Bottle. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Overcarbonated. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee. Taste, coffee, Dark malt, licorice. Good.

Black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, dark fruit, hint of chocolate. Taste is the same, raisins, sweet and some bitter. Not bad.
