One of Scotland’s favourites thanks to its distinctive and full-bodied flavour. Pale malt gives satisfying ‘Horlicks’ maltiness and black malt adds balance to the sweetness. Challenger provides the bitterness and base note herbal hop character with Goldings adding a hint of orange peel.

Cask at The Bull, Newmarket. Pours dark amber/brown with a cream head. Aroma: fruity, sour berry, caramel, malt, bread. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, malty, fruity, a touch sour. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Not great.

Leicht eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. In der Nase Toffee und Malz, leicht fruchtig. Geschmacklich malzig mit Toffee und Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, sanfte Kohlensäure, mittlerer Körper.
