Pitch black with a fast escaping tan head.
Nose is decadent chocolate, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar melt, caramel.
Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, faint liquorice, spice, dark malts, chocolate melt, mellow barrel tones, figs, fruit cake mix.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light rip of alcohol.
Solid sipper with a mellow rummy edge.

Gift from my manager. Glossy and stygian. Foamy tan head. Aroma has rich mocha, molasses and rum sweetness, but the latter is more complementary than anything else. Initial bitterness - espresso and liqourice, followed by creamy mocha and nuts. A boozy edge witb hints of berries and sweetness. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. One that will definitely keep you warm in a Baltic winter but not too feral.

Can shared at work. Az alapsor mar a bourbon hordos verzioban is tundokolt, es ennel a verzional sincsen maskepp: elkepeszto suru, ragacsos-ragos csokoladeozon nemi melaszos, szaritott gyumolcsos, kaves felhanggal. A hordokarakter viszont meglehetosen mas, itt meglehetosen kifinomult, fuszeres, elegans, kicsit vanilias, mig a bourbon totalisan az arcodba maszott, sokkal intenzivebb volt.

Nagy, tartós, barna hab, fekete szín. Rumos, csokis, kakaós, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös illat. Édes, fekete csokis, kávés, kakaós, aszalt gyümölcsös, rumos, hordós, vaníliás ízek. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Isteni finom.

Brno tasting 08/2024. Dark chestnut brown with minimal beige head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate, rum, caramel. Taste is very intense with dark malt, chocolate, rum, caramel, raisins, light roasted malt.

Notater fra en aldeles utmerket kveld på Våland, i lag med Egil, Johan, Camilla, Marianne og Fia. 0,433boks fra importkofferten: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Mørke bær og mørke dessertsjokolader, luxuskaffe, rom og vanilje. Mye karamell og mørke bær i avslutningen, som også gir fornemmelser av After Eight-sjokolade. Kveldens siste for meg, og også en av de beste.

Dark briwn, tan head. Aroma of chokolate cake, varnish. Taste of chocolate, lactosis, tobacco. Minty aftertaste. More a pastry stout than a Baltic porter

Bottle shared with Holmen1, Johan, Camilla and Marianne at Johan’s place 02.07.22. Very dark brown. Brown head. Aroma and taste of chocolate cake, after eight, sweet caramel, dates, sweet prunes and varnish. More like a pastry stout than a Baltic Porter.
