Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 17th December 2022. Deep sepia ruby with tan foam and travelling lace. Malty aroma. Caramel and hazelnut malt in-mouth, and a finish of the same. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at the cock. A dark chestnut brown coloured pour with a a loose speckled tan head. Aroma is nutty, earthy chestnut, dried fruits, trail mix. Flavour is composed of semi sweet oily, vanilla, cola, toasted nuts, apple, light tart apple. Palate is semi sweet. Watery, mellow cask condition. Decent.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney Central. Pours clear red-brown with a frothy, tan head. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of well toasted malts, mellow semi-dark berries, soft roast, nips of earth and cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Balanced finish, rounded dark malts. Nice one.
