The harmonious balance of dark malts and zesty hops make Sunset a thoroughly modern Red. The bright, citrusy aroma of Citra and the deep dank tones of Columbus give way to smooth and mellow notes of toffee and biscuit of the palate with a refreshing IPA style finish. Truly a beer for all seasons.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers. Aroma of malty, coffee biscuits and fruits. Taste is a bit of an odd one, does not really follow through from quite a promising aroma. Very thin and low carbonation.

Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 20/12/23. Clear reddish amber with a good sized lasting egg shell white cap. Nose is caramel malts, dried fruit rinds, herb, brown bread, biscuit. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, dried red berries, brown bread, berry fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced light earthy hop bitterness. Tidy enough red IPA ... ticks the style boxes.

Keg at Mercato Metropolitano - Canary Wharf. Pours mostly clear amber-red with a foamy, off white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of toasted malts, pine, berries, nips of toffee, low bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish. Drinks fine.

Draught at BrewDog Ealing, shared with Finn. Spotty lacing from an off-white head, clear copper coloured body. Aromas of mild caramel sweetness and red orange. Blended taste of caramel malts and dried fruits. Rounded malt-fruity tail, mid sweet. Medium bodied. Likeable. (Ealing, London 26.09.2023).

Delt med Rune på BrewDog Ealing. Ekstremt mørk amber. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Litt lacing. Aroma av sirup. Smaken bæraktig. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning.

Keg at Brewdog Doghouse Edinburgh. Pours clear red-brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of red fruit and toffee. Taste adds a light spiciness and autumn fruit. Not too sweet on the finish, faint roast at the back. Nice.
