PINTA/ TANKER All Ryed! Serious lager! During brewing we used 200 loaves of rye bread from local bakery and loads of rye malt. To keep the rye flavour up front we only hopped after the end of boiling and duing lagering in tanks. All Ryed! – what the Poles and Estonians like the most!

Bottle. Amber colour, cloudy. Aroma is intensive resin, some biscuit and dough. Medium bitterness. Tastes like an IPA. Too much hopped to be interesting.

Draft sample @ TCBW ’16. Léger orangé trouble, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez épais un peu trop penché sur la levure, note de seigle et grains évident. Petit rétro agrumes, épaisseur des grains se dégage au nez avec ce bouquet concassé. Palais reste épais étant donné le profil seigle, pointe épicé tjrs du seigle avec un houblonné assez noble en retrait. Garde cependant une petite pointe d’exotique en fin de bouche.

Tap at Tallinn Craft Beer Weeken 2016, Tallinn. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Dryness, grain, some fruits, hops and malts.

Tap at Koht, Tallinn. Hazy orange color, small steady white head. Ryeish, harsh and bun aroma. Light-bodied. Rye, grass, harsh flavor. Very unbalanced. Meh.

Tap at koht. Pours dark golden with whiteish head. Aroma is fruits, grass, vegetables, mal, diacetyl. Flavor is sweet and bitter, vegetables, diacetyl, malt, carrots. Finish has some dry bitterness with more vegetables. Overall: marduk swears it was a lot better yesterday, but today it’s vegetables and i don’t like vegetables in my beer.

On tap at Koht, Tallinn. Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Noticeable fruity aroma with bready notes, dried peaches and hints of grass and honey. Fairly hoppy, fairly sweet. Quite drinkable and quite enjoyable. Do remind me more of Pinta than Tanker. Decent.
