Left Handed Giant come from the lovely British city of Bristol. Boasting one of the most beautiful Brewpubs in the country with beers to match they are a certain crowd favourite across the British Isles. Unintentionally whenever we’ve invited our British friends over we’ve almost always ended up brewing a DIPA so we thought why break tradition? Much like everyone we invite over for a collab, we try to match the best of both our brewing techniques to create something a little bit different from our usual beers! For this one we went extremely heavy on late hop additions using Incognito and cryo hops to almost go 5x higher than our usual hotside late addition hops. On top of this we layered in an extra heavy dryhop of Citra, Citra Cryo, Nelson and Pacific Sunrise for an overheavy saturation of Mangoes, more mangoes, Citrus fruit and tropical fruit galore!

Incredibly pale Heidelberg Pilsner malt with almost 40% Oats and wheat make the base of this beer. A total hop load of almost 24g/l for as much saturation as possible. Thick but fluffy mouthfeel makes this an easy going DIPA with an aggressively pungent aroma.

Draught Very good, dense, lightly yellowish head over fully hazy orange beer, leaving rings of lace. Citrus, fresh greenery, faint asafoetida. Hopoil & lupulin galore. Unripe strawberry. Citrus, other (exotic) fruit, and lupulin, all in very good balance. Certain soft fruity sweetness playing hide-and-seek - again as not-quite-ripe strawberry. Resiny. Just a tad chewy, very oily-slick, medium bodied at least, good carbonation. Quite nice, hazy double IPA, not too strong, but very well-balanced.

Can. Unclear yellow-orange, small white head. Alcohol, pine cones, grapefruit and hints of tropical fruit in the aroma. Full body, lightly warming, soft carbonation. Decent bitterness. Piney, grapefruity, lightly tropical flavor with alcohol and white bread malts. Medium length finish. Nice indeed, yet a bit dull. 250307
