Draught@HBF2018. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some burnt sugar, mild chili as well as some wooden notes. Flavour is fruity, liquorice, some roasted and wooden notes and quite a bunch of chili. Quite nice, but the chili does become a bit too straight forward. A bit less and this would be rreally really nice.

Should this be under flavored porters maybe ? Smell-medium strong, malt, roast, coffee, bit of spice. Foam- medium thickness, some weak roast, malt and definitely bit of spice and chili mix. Head is large, medium dark brown color, seems to stick. Appearance- generic ruby color bottle cap bottle with blood splatter on it and ransom not text, will give that 1 point for creativity, but a cap is generic it kind of stays same as most generic beers here. Dark brown red, some weak carbonation, almost pitch black, but less than some others. From - stout glass Taste - malt, roast, caramel. coffee, then chili hits with other spice, some sweetness somewhere and some bitter notes but chili hits through it all. Weird beer, not first chili one I had, tastes similar, fairly drinkable but nothing to really return to.

Significant spice, like habanero or something really hits you hard in this beer. It is hot spicy, which i love... BUT the malt body doesn’t quite keep up, it is a dry beer, and requires some sweetness to balance it. Craft & Jazz Riga

Opaque black colour, good beige head. Toasted nose has some vegetables from chilli. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty, chilli burn flavour. Cocoa finish. Hard burn but I could handle it!

Bottle from Alus Celle, Riga. The beer starts with a mild chocolate beginning. Hints of roast with a moderate smooth graininess. The hot chilis arrive 3-4sec after the sip. Quite hot overwhelming the other flavours, the chocolate, which is not too intense at all, is a bit too much in the back. Nice and easy to drink, the hot spiciness of the chilli is remaining very long on the tongue.
