Can from H Mart: pours pours brownish with light beige head. Aroma is malty and vaguely fruity. Feels light a hoppy amber rather than a session IPA, but hey, it is an exciting new Korean tick.

18/10/2024. Can from GS25 Gwangan Branch, Suyeong-gu, Busan. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, resin, biscuit, bread, ripe tropical fruits, caramel, toasted and slightly nutty. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Oily, a little fizzy. Not bad.

Can (Maita Caulfield). Hilarious to read reviews below opining on whether this is an Authentic Session IPA. Not wrong, just funny. Just unclear amber with a fat coat of pale beige head. Aroma of breadcrust, spicy English hops. A fair bit of body. Sweetish with some autumnal fruit as well as breadcrust before firm spicy bitterness. Pretty good.

Can from a random corner store, near the Gyeongbokgung Palace referenced on the label. Dark amber, and bright. Older school than most old school IPAs. Light body, chewy, biscuity, but also some honeyish, floral hops. Not as bitter as you'd think...it's just an amber ale. I suppose a well made one but a little bit silly to call it IPA because it sets the expectations higher than they should be.

(Can) Pours clear amber / copper with pale amber head. Pleasant fruity aroma - citrus mainly - maybe hints of pine and toffee. Light body and rather fizzy. Flavour is rather watered down. There’s some toffee sweetness and some hard to place fruitiness. There’s hoppy bitterness in the finish. Pale ale, not IPA By taste IMHO, although aroma suggests IPA. Definitely drinkable, but rather attenuated taste.

16 ounce can. Pours a copper color with a medium white head. A soft floral toast nose. Somewhat sweet, toasted malts, light oranges. Not really an IPA, but a bit fruity.
