Imperial stout aged in a blend of Jack Daniels and Makers Mark bourbon barrels for a full year. Flavours of chocolate mousse, coconut, vanilla and ripe cherry are complemented by the unique malt bill consisting of 8 specialty grains.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is vanilla and bourbon barrel with dark malt, roast, chocolate, soy sauce, touch of salty liquorice. Medium sweet flavour, not boozy. Medium to full body. Surprisingly good from Two Chefs.

Pours pitch black with a beige-brown head that lasts pretty long. Aroma's of dark caramel, boozy, roasted, woody. Retronasal it's sweetish, umami, boozy, light fruity, wood. Flavour is (light) moderate sweet, umami, moderate roasty bitter. Almost full bodied. Nice mouthfeel, soft, velvetty, good carbonation. Finishes with more roast, moderate bitter. The bourbon is very subtle (could have been a bit more pronounced), but it's a great impy.

Can at home from Amsterdam, 20th July 24. Pours a black and thick stout. Aroma is roasted malts, vanilla, yogurt, chocolate, liquor, salted liquorice. Taste is salted liquorice, roasted malts, chocolate, bourbon, liquor, barrel, lovely.
