33cl can from Gulating, Kristiansand. Enjoyed outside a cottage in Julius-skogen from a McDonald's cup. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Mild fruity flavours with notes of ripe bananas, cloves and hints of wheat and yeast. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable after a long day in the Zoo

Fresh bottle from the brewery. Unclear golden body that becomes hazy when whirling the bottom sediments. Quite big white head that fades a bit fast. Nice, strong classic hefeweizen aroma, pale malt, wheat, fruity yeast with banana, cloves and citric fruit. Same goes for the taste, its’s refreshing, fruity and true to style. Pale malt, wheat, yeast, banana and hint of oranges. Medium to light bodied and same refreshing aftertaste. Nice and refreshing version of a slightly forgotten style these juicy days.

330 ml bottle, from Bris ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV 4.7%. Overcarbonated, the glass fills completely by white foam, before a very pale and slightly hazy straw coloured beer slowly appears underneath. Aroma of yeast, citrus, banana and cloves. Fizzy mouthfeel. Yeasty and medium dry flavour of banana and cloves. Won't buy again - there are better weissbiers around.

Bottle. It pours a cloudy yellow-golden body under a dense two-finger white head soon diminishing into a rim of bubbles. The aroma is quite citrusy, with orange, lemon and a touch of lime, a light bready maltyness and a light dough note. A faint clove hint too. It's medium bodied and quite effervescent, with less sweetness than normal for the style. It's quite dry, close to acidic, with lemon juice, generic citrus, a hint of peach and pineapple, some clove hints and just a touch of doughy, bready malts. Lasting lemon-driven finish. Not your average hefeweizen this one, but it's a refreshing and quite tasteful beer. 190331
