Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, lots of pine resin, citrus, ripe orange, tangerine, some caramel, tropical fruit notes, hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a long heavy bitter finish. Has some noticeable booziness to it. Body is full. Not Belgian at all. Lacks the finesse and balance of a great Imperial IPA, but the big piney fruity hops make this an enjoyable sipping beer.

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is berries, some floral, mild toffee, a bit flower and some fruity tones too. Flavour is fruity, floral, some berries, mild sweet malts with quite a big bitter bite in the finish. Old School DIPA. Nice one.

Tap @ VAF 2018 / 01.12. Dark orange or light amber pour, kind of cloudy. Fresh hoppy nose, hints marmalade hops, heavy body and abundant hopping. Tastes hoppy, bit medicinal I think. Hop juice, tasty and actually feels well balanced. If 200 IBU can be well balanced that is. Dry hoppy dusty finish.
