Bottled, 750ml champagne-corked. (#38) Lightly unclear, reddish brown with an ok beige head. Cellar, mould, sweetness, dried fruit, chocolate and cocoa in the aroma. The flavor is sweet, with mould, cellar, chocolate and cocoa. Medium to full body and a long finish. I would like the orange to be more pronounced, but it is a nice beer anyhow. It is a pity the batch-sizes are so small. (061124)

[Bøgedal nr. 38] A hazy deep red beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is sweet and nicely hoppy with a light touch of oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of alcohol, oranges, and caramel.

Dark brown color with ruby shades. The aroma is slightly herbal, with some caramel. Medium body, some malt, caramel, spices; maybe also the orange peels… Quite pleasant Christmas beer.

(Bottle 75 cl) Nr. 38 Pours a hazy mahogany with a reddish hue and a creamy, light brown head. Lightly sweet, roasted, malty nose. Quite a full body, slightly sweet, roasted malt with accents of chocolate. Vague burned edge. Light bitterness in the finish. I don’t really pick up the added oranges. A very pleasant and harmonious brew. 010506
