Draught @ Flensburg Tall Ship Races 2015. Pours cloudy lightish copper brown with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and caramel. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with estery and fruity notes, complemented by bitter, hoppy touches. Estery and malty aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel despite the rather high carbonation. Okay.

Draught at the brewpub. Almost clear brown colour. Small creamy light brown head. Starts with a hoppy bite from semi-rough hops. Ends with a little sweetness from dark malts, but mostly bitter. Faint hint of aroma hops.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear, golden to copper body with a small off-white head. Malty and fruity nose with some caramel. Quite weak. Nice blend of caramel and fruityness in the flavor, some grains and a nice lasting bitterness. Medium body with decent carbonation. Not a very impressing beer, but sure drinkable. Works nicely as a summer beer too. (080517)
