A porter carrying my name, wow! 330 ml bottle, opened and resealed, from a trade with Cunningham. BB date 01.12. 2016. ABV is 5.5%, IBU 33. Black colour, huge tan head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate and coffee. Decent flavour, slight sweetness, same elements as the aroma, moderate hops.

Black as the night. What would you expect. Aroma was not that good. Probably stayed to long in the basement. Fine body and a pleasant carbonation level. Maybe a bit to rich. Balanced sweetness. Nice fine flavor in this one. Chocolate, roast, espresso and some earthy notes. Apart from the aroma, this was a really nice beer.

Bottle [from Secret Santa Europe thanks to FatPhil] @ home. Opaque very dark brown to black color, medium sized brown to dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, lightly hints of smoke. Taste malts, lightly roast, dark malts, malt bitter, bitter. A bit thinner texture wise than I had expected, body is decent, carbonation is firm and a bit fizzy. Decent porter.
