Bottle, 75cl. A clear, golden mead, quite oily, and flat. Some honey on the nose, suprisingly low on honey actually, with flowers, alcohol, hints of oxidation and some liquer. Sweet, warming and vinous, honey more evident in the flavor than in the aroma, and the flowers toned down. A bit thin maybe, at least feeling a bit thin, oily and warming, with a slight sour touch in the finish. Dangerously easy to drink, almost refreshing. 090925

Bottled. Amber body with no head, almost oily body. Noble aroma of mild honey and sherry, some dry fruit and a warming hint of alcohol. Flavor is sweet and complex, not to strong honey flavor, dry fruit, vinous and slightly oxidized. First impression is quite sweet, but the finsh has a slightlt acidity thats make this more interesting. Smooth and easy to drink, still a rich flavor.
