Can at home from Amsterdam, 9th January 2026. Pours a black beer, quite thick. Aroma is liquor, malts, umami, citrus. Taste is big, heavy, chocolate, barrel, aromatic, bit of a crazy abv, drinks OK, overall nice enough

Can. Almost black with fluffy ran head. Lime zest, cocoa, yoghurt, old wood, soft brandy, blackberries, red currants, ash, alcohol, dry whisky. Medium sweet and bitter, light sour. Bit watery and just medium bodied. Not bad at all, but not sure if the barrel ageing really made this better.

Donkerbruin bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van eiken, wat chocolade en wat fruit, afgerond met een vleug cognac. Heel goed.

Can. Color: Almost black, brown head. Aroma: Floral hop, fruity notes. Taste: Floral and grassy hop, notes of caramel, dark and roasted malt, some chocolate, nicely blended with subtle fruity Cognac notes. Boozy at the dry-ish finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Moderate to over moderate sweet and bitter. Very nice.
