Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has notes of honey, sugar, floral and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet with a long sweet honey finish. Body is full, texture is oily.

Bottle at the meadery. A crystal clear, straw colored mead. Flowery, peach like with sweetish notes. Some cellar hints. Medium body, medium sweet, with flowers and some honey. Apricot notes. A quite pleasant one. 130808

Bottle. Pours clear golden. Aroma of honey, alcohol, hay. Flavor is the same, quite herbal, notes of grass, not anywhere near as sweet as other meads I have had, which is interesting given its name. Interesting herbal note. Light body, ABV apparent in the warming of the palate.

Pours clear faint gold with modest legginess. The aroma is full of firm levels of sweet honey and play dough as well as waxed apple wedges. The taste is pretty much the same with sweet smooth honey, fruity wax Halloween candy and a smooth sweet somewhat waxy finish.

Sample at the Mead Molehill tasting on 01/10/2011. Clear amber color with minimal head and lacing. Sweet honey in the nose. Medium body with flavors of herbs, honey and flowers. The finish is short and sweet. Pretty average overall.

Deep gold colour. Sweet, honeyish taste with some woody notes. Complex honey profile. Heavy body. Slight alcoholic finish. The texture is a bit syrupy - halfway between a drinking mead and a sipping (Polish) mead. But the flavour and complexity are good times.

Bottle from BevMo. Served at the suggested room temperature. Pours with a clear yellow body with a few legs. Aroma is hot with alcohol and medicinal, with notes of sage and vanilla with a touch of white grape and vinegar brine. Taste is of olives, honey and light grassy notes. Slight effervescence and slightly syrupy.
