Slightly hazy light gold. Smells like butter. Taste has light bitterness but lots of butter that pretty much overrides the malt.

Draught @ Christianssand Brygghus, Kristiansand
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, corn, floral, grass and hint of cooked vegestable. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a faintly cloudy golden body and a small, creamy head. There’s a faint hint of cooked vegetables in the aroma, but fortunately subdued. Grass, some flowers and a hint of pine cones too, but not much maltyness. Quite dry on the palate, with a fine bitterness lasting for some time. Overall, a refreshing beer, quite tasteful too, but not the most interesting one from this brewpub. Much more interesting than the regular Norwegian pilsners. 130720

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy golden body with a fine off-white head. Aroma is light malty with grassy hops and hint of fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, pale malt, fruity and decent bitter. Fine balanced body and bitter aftertaste. Pilsner is not my favorite style but this is a fine interpretation in my book. The body feels softer and smoother, it’s more fruity without overdoing it and has a very balanced bitterness. Softer malt and a bit more fruity, still not too overwhelming, there is no doubt about this is a pilsner. Probably one of the best pilsner I have ever tasted.
