On tap @ the brewpub. Unclear dark golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has lots of malt with matured fruit, citric fruit, apricot, grapefruit and some pine. Flavor is sweet, almost too sweet but the bitterness saves it. Quite malty and that’s OK - for a double IPA to play together with the bitterness and alcohol. Alcohol is present but not dominating at all. Full body and long lasting aftertaste with sweet malt, fruit and bitterness. This is a nice double IPA that’s feel like it something extra of everything but nothing really dominates, it’s just more of it. Nothing new really but solid work.

On tap at the brewpub. An unclear orange colored beer topped by a small, dense off-white head. It’s fruity on the nose, orange peel, peaches, pine cones, resins and some grapefruit. It’s rather bitter, like a double IPA should be, there’s enough sweetness too, and lots of fruity, piney hop flavors. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting bitter and fruity finish. Not bad, not bad. 141018
