Bottle. It pours a clear, amber colored body under an off-white head. The aroma is fruity, with caramel and some dried fruits. The flavor has a decent bitterness, but it’s the caramel that dominates. Some dried fruits in the back. It’s medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, finishing on the malty side, still with the bitterness keeping things balanced. An easy drinkable beer that won’t scare anyone. 140531

On tap at the brewpub. This was the brewpub’s first beer, brewed with the intention "to please everybody", according to the brewer, Olav H. Helleland. Amber colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of toffee. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has notes of caramel and toffee. Very moderate hops.
