Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Gusher bottle. Brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of smoked stjørdalsmalt, smoked meat and wood. Fizzy and thin mouthfeel. Dry flavour, a slight acidity, moderate smoked malts. Uninteresting, and definitely not my cup of tea.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 14.04.15. A gusher. Aroma of sour, dry malt and dried vomit. Taste is similar, but slightly better with a more.complex malt taste. A taste that I have not quite aquired yet.

Bottle. It’s a clear, brown beer with a dense, beige head. The aroma is on the malty side, with caramel and a light smoked touch. Not much fruityness going on, except some hints of dried fruits. It’s medium bodied and soft on palate, mostly on the dry side. There’s a pleasant smoke touch in the flavor too, quite subtle. Caramel and some dried fruits too. Lasting finish with the smoke lingering in a nice way. A pleasant one that would be very intersting at a slightly higher ABV. 140623

Bottle 330ml @ To Tårn, Trondheim
Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain and hint of smoke. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, smoke and grainy finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
