On tap at the brewpub. It pours a lightly hazy copper to brown body under a small beige head. The aroma has some toffee and prunes, bubble gum and pine cones. It’s a bit fizzy for my liking, full bodied and quite dry even though it leaves a light sticky feeling on the tongue. Toffee, roasted malts, resins and bubble gum in the flavor. A nice bitterness too. Lasting finish with a roasted touch, toffee and an everlasting bubblegum flavor. Drinkable indeed, but it’s one of, if not the, least interesting beers from this brewery. 150109

Draught @ Christianssand Brygghus, Kristiansand
Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt yeast, caramel, wheat and biscuit. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeasty, caramel, malty and nutty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear, dark brown with a nice, lacing off-white head. Aroma has bread, yeast and a hint of malt and bubblegum. Flavor is sweet dark unroasted malt, some liquorice and quite a lot of fresh yeast. Medium body and a bit sweet in aftertaste. Drinkable, but feels a bit to fresh and yeasty for my palate. Not very typical to the style as well.
