On tap @ the brewpub. Black body with a big, stable, lacing beige head. Lovely aroma with dark malt, roasted coffee and lots of dark chocolate. Flavor is very smooth, roasted malt, sweet dark chocolate, coffee and balanced bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting aftertaste with sweet, roasted malt and dark chocolate and some bitterness. It’s a pretty straight forward strong porter without any nonsense, still some kind of complexity and really smooth and tasty. Nice one.

Draught @ Christianssand Brygghus, Kristiansand
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, citrus, pine and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate, caramel, citrus, grape and licorice finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy

On tap at the brewpub. A big, creamy dark beige head forms over a close to black body. The aroma is heavy on the coffee, with a good dash of piney hops. Dark chocolate and roasted malts too. Some dark sugar and caramel hints. It’s full bodied, with a warming hint and a soft carbonation. Lots of roasted malts, coffee and licorice in the mouth, with hoppy bitterness, dark chocolate and some pine cones. Everlasting finish with coffee, roasted malts and licorice joined by a nice bitterness. Delicious indeed. 151106
