On tap @ the brewpub. Unclear dark golden body with a quite small, lacing off-white head. Aroma is quite malty with ripe fruit and tropical fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, hint of bread, some fruit and rather bitter. Fine balanced body with a sweet and bitter aftertaste. Nice but a bit to straight forward to get any higher score from me. But I like the malty base here.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy orange colored beer with a small, dense, firm beige head leaving curtains. Lightly malty, biscuity aroma, but it’s the piney, clementine hops that dominates. Some canned tropical fruits too. Peaches, pine cones and a touch of resins in the flavor, quite bitter, and with a solid malty backbone. Velvety mouthfeel, pleasant carbonation level and full body. Long hop dominated finish. Easy drinkable and quite tasteful this one. 151106
