Draught @ Christianssand Brygghus, Kristiansand
Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, caramel, grass and herbs. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long grainy, malty, grassy and hint of popcorn finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

On tap @ the brewpub. Unclear amber body with a medium sized, lacing off-white head. Aroma is toast, mild malt, some dry fruit, hay and a faint hint of citric fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, light caramel, dry fruit, toast and low bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Not very familiar with the style, but as a lager it’s pretty respectable, but not a favorite by me.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy amber colored beer with a small, dense, beige head. Bready, quite grainy nose with caramel, a touch of raisin and coffee. It’s medium bodied and quite dry. Soft carbonation. Bready, caramel flavor with a fruityness and balanced bitterness.. Long finish. Easy drinkable but I think it would need some rich food to shine. 151024
