On tap @ the brewpub. Almost clear amber body with a small but lacing off-white head. Aroma has bread and ripe citric fruit and hint of yeast. Flavor is soft rye, some fruit, hint of caramel and quite bitter. Medium body and dominating bitter aftertaste. A bit one dimensional sweet and bitter but drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a lightly hazy one, amber in color and with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. There’s a grainy lager-touch to both the aroma and flavor, pale malts and a bready hint, with a good dash of citrus peel and pine cones. Quite a lot of bitterness in the flavor, as well as the same citrus peel and pine cones. And of course some maltyness serving as a foundation for the hop. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with a lasting hop driven finish. A rather boring and straight forward beer, but easy drinkable, at least if you like bitterness. 150502
