Growler 2L @ Geokkjer
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tartness, coffee, hint of cooked vegetable, herbs and gooseberry. Taste is medium sweet and medium sour with a long dry, coffee, tart, light salty, gooseberry and citrus finish. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

13.10.2016, tap @ Apollon:
Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish, sorrel, minerals, grass, filter coffee, raw cabbage, sap, stomach acid. Taste is sour-ish dry, sorrel, soda powder, unripe berries, filter coffee, fruit salt, grass, minerals, citrus acid. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Growler from the source. Almost clear golden body with a nice, firm off-white head. Aroma is mostly coffee, good quality coffee. Flavor is smoot coffee, light malt and sour berries, feels almost a bit like cascara. Fruity bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting aftertaste with coffee and sour berries. Had to admit I was a bit sceptic about this, sour coffee is not a good thing in my book, but this works surprisingly well. This beer has a perfect balance between the coffee, the sweetness, the acidity, bitterness and actually feels refreshing. Had most of the growler by myself and it feels just better and better for each glass. The aftertaste seems to last forever and make me want more of it. This is all about balance, nothing seems to be too much, just enough.

Growler. An unclear yellow-orange beer with a small, dense white head. Some lacing. Lots of delicious coffee on the nose, with a light vegetal coffee touch, funky fruityness and some lemon and leather. There’s some gooseberry in the flavor, else it’s pretty much like the aroma. Less coffee though. Even less in the finish, which suits it very well. Medium body, dry and nicely carbonated. Long fruity finish with the coffee lurking in the back. A really lovely coffee beer. 161022
