On the Brewpub 110816. Dark brown/Black color with a beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, hop. Flavor is coffee, roasted malt, hop, fruit, chocolate. Medium body. Nice beer.

Draught @ Christianssand Brygghus, Kristiansand
Pours dark reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel and hint of tonga beans?. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long coffee, roasted, chocolate and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s close to black in colour, with a dense beige head. Lacing. There’s a really delicious coffee aroma going on, with roasted malts, coffee and a faint fruity touch. It’s super smooth and nicely carbonated, semi-dry and medium to full bodied. Roasted malts, coffee, some dark chocolate and a fruityness. Lasting finish. Would like more coffee in the flavor, but it’s a fine beer anyway. 160811

On tap @ the Brewpub. Dark brown, almost black body with a nice, long lasting, lacing, creamy beige head. Fantastic aroma loaded with coffee and chocolate, medium roasted, dark malt and quality coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, light roasted malt, dark roasted expresso coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and relatively bitter. Fine balanced body with a fruity, bitter and not sweet coffee finish. Very nice if you like good coffee - and I do.
