Based on a pale, lightly hopped wheat beer, the refreshingly crisp fruitiness, aroma and rich colour come from the addition of fresh raspberry puree during maturation. Balancing tartness with sweetness, on its own it is a delicious aperitif, as well being as a great partner for goat’s cheese, rich pate or anything chocolatey.

Pours a hazy amber-coppery color, topped with medium sized white head, slight ruby undertone and medium lasting. Pleasant fruity note with raspberry syrup and some whatey notes. A slight intial sweetness followed by medium soury fruity taste with a tad puckering acidic feel. Short aftertaste and medium body. Nice one. Easily enjoyable.

330ml bottle. Pours a fairly unappealing orange brown colour with no head. Visibly fizzy on the top. Aroma is tart raspberry, but a little synthetic. Taste is also very tart, with a nice raspberry finish. The main issue is that it’s far too fizzy.

Hazy red colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of raspberry. It’s fairly sweet for a raspberry beer. Still pleasant and easy to drink though.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Deeper amber coloured with no head. The raspberry is its dominant characteristic, although not overly stated by any means, and the wheat ale texture works well for the ale too.

0.33l bottle. This is a cloudy hard to describe the color of one. Ehm, deep amber with a pinkish hue? Only a small off-white head with the same pinkish hue. It smells artificial fruity with lime and traces of raspberry bubblegum. Wheat sweetness also detected here. Not horrible. Slightly acidic-sour, or tart is a better word to describe the flavors here. Wheat sweetness detected, but the sourness overwhelms pretty much everything. Raspberry sourness of course. Thin and only in the mouth with a above average carbonation level. Grows on you, but definitely no masterpiece. 06.06.2014

Bottle. Aroma acidic, apple vinegar. Hazy reddish amber colour. Taste acidic right from beginning, apples, fruity. Sourness is clearly present, but not overwhelming. Lightest of clove. Not much more. Rather simple and strange, but good for those who like this kind of thing, but drinkability is rather poor. IMO overall average.

Tåkete orange farge med høyt hvitt skum ved skjenking. Faller ganske raskt. Lukter fruktig, syrlig, noe vinøs. Smaker syrlig bær. tørr avslutning.
