Based on a pale, lightly hopped wheat beer, the refreshingly crisp fruitiness, aroma and rich colour come from the addition of fresh raspberry puree during maturation. Balancing tartness with sweetness, on its own it is a delicious aperitif, as well being as a great partner for goat’s cheese, rich pate or anything chocolatey.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange amber color, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste are quite nice, clearly raspberry, only a little bit sweet and a light tart note. Quite ok.

Bottle. Color: Orange red, off-white head. Taste: Like a normal wheat beer with too little raspberry syrup. And so you get a moderate beer that is not a wheat beer and no fruit beer either. Thin body, average carbonation. Watery. Mwaah...

330ml bottle. Cloudy red colour with a dissipating slightly pinkish head. Aroma: tart raspberry and wheat malt. Taste: sour raspberries, wheat, light hops. Light body and carbonation. Not really a whole lot going on here, a bit boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from my mate Wiggy who presumably got it from Lewisham Tesco. Honey coloured pour with a wispy white head. Lots of red berries in the nose, splash of beetroot and toffee apple. Sweet red berry action in the flavour, whisper of sourness. Ok.
