Cask at the Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Pours clear amber with a small bubbly just off-white head. Aroma of hop, grass and hay with floral notes. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Toward medium body, slight oily texture, soft to average carbonation. Quite a sherbet feel for starters but eased a little.

Cask at the Wharf. An almost clear beer, golden in colour and with some bubbles on top. Lemon, grapefruit and some light toffee in the aroma. Itโs quite bitter on the palate, dry and softly carbonated medium bodied and with flavors of citrus zest dominating. Lime, grapefruit and lemon zest. Some malts in the far back. A quite delicious and easy drinkable beer. 160622

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Bright golden amber with a loose white head; grapefruit aroma; soapy mouthfeel and a sharp fresh grapefruit bitterness with some woody notes; and a dry citrus finish. A basic but well made golden ale.
