bottle. clear brown, smooth very light brown head. looks good. very very nice smooth slighly powdered sugar sweet malty nutty aroma, rounded by mild flowery hops. flavor is sweet malty, nutty, slightly bitter nutty, i think the bitter nuts are from hops, faint fruity note. not nearly as lovely as the aroma, but still okay. i don't think the bitterness matches the flavor very well, it's like a fruit where you accidentially left some real bitter fruit peel on it, unbalancing the whole thing.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Nose has a little nuttiness but also some butterscotch hinting in the direction of diacetyl. Medium body, caramel, nuts and molasses - again with a hint of butter, but within acceptable limits I reckon. Some late bittering hops. 241120

Bottle, 75cl corked. As Amerikansk Amber Ale. It pours an unclear amber to brown body under a finger-thick beige head. The aroma is lightly vegetal and grassy, with caramel and some roasted malts. It’s soft on the palate, a bit thin, and quite dry, with a nice bitterness. Caramel, bread, some nuts and a little bitterness in the flavor. Too grassy and vegetal in the finish. Not more than half-decent this one. Sort of homebrew-ish. 160514
