On tap at the brewpub. It pours a dark brown beer under a small, dense beige head leaving lacing. The aroma has a nice roasted touch, with caramel, chocolate and some raisins. It’s full bodied, smooth and semi dry, with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and some dried fruits in the flavor. Nice bitterness and a faint piney touch. Lasting roasted malts dominated finish. A very pleasant porter. 160305

On tap @ the brewpub. Dark brown to black body with a big, beige head. Nice aroma of roasted, dark malt, toast and some dark fruit. Flavor is sweet, dark, roasted malt, biscuit, hint of fruit and some coffee. Quite bitter for the style. Medium body, but actually feels a bit thin bodied after a while. Nice aftertaste with roasted malt and pleasant bitterness. Not the best porter from the brewery, but easy drinkable and quite pleasant.
