On tap @ the brewpub. Unclear orange body with a moderate sized, lacing white head. Rather light in aroma, malt, grain, light fruit and some spicy yeast. Flavor is sweetish malt, grain, biscuit, mild fruit and relatively bitter. Medium body and decent sweet and bitter aftertaste. A bit skeptic about a pilsner/pale lager camouflaged at something else, what’s the point? That’s often my question. This one works somehow, it’s something different but still a lager.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy golden orange beer with a small off-white head. Some lacing. It’s lightly fruity on the nose, with yellow apples and mandarin, some pale malts and a faint, pleasant spiced rye touch. It’s medium to full bodied and dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation. Fruity, lightly bitter flavor with a touch of pale malts and some peppery hints. Easy drinkable and quite tasteful, although a bit lagerish. 160227
