Cask at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. A dark brown beer topped by a minimal sized beige head. It’s very fruity on the nose, lightly berry-ish and woodish, with a faint roasted touch. It’s medium to full-bodied, quite dry on the palate, with a decent bitterness. Berries, wood notes, generic fruityness and some roasted malts in the flavor, lasting for a while. A lovely beer in many ways, but too weird to be awarded a really high score from me. 150611

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours cloudy dark coffee brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with roasty and hoppy notes and touches of dark chocolate. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with fruity and malty notes. Lingering, bitterish, estery and leafy afteraste. Quite interesting.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, smooth sweet chocolate malt with light grassy floral hops, light woody notes, nice. In mouth, a sweet bitter chocolate with coffee grind, floral hops, well done. On tap at brewery.
