From tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø, 21.10.17. Muddy dark pink. Small white head. Aroma and acid taste of sour redcurrants, blackcurrants and milk. Quite refreshing, but not outstanding.

On tap at Haandverkeren. An unclear red beer with a pink head of moderate size. Looking like a strawberry daiquiri. Lots of berries in the aroma, not much distinct blackcurrant. Lemony notes and a sourish milky touch. Even some forest hints. It's medium bodied and and rather chewy on the palate, lightly tart and sourish. Very soft carbonation. Lasting berry dominated finish. An interesting one indeed, even though I'm normally not very fond of blackcurrant. 170909

Tap @ Haandverkeren, Kristiansand. Murky purple with a fine, long lasting, dense pink head. Aroma is nice and fruity with distinct black currant, hint of lemon, lacto acid and yogurt. Flavor is refreshing acidic blue fruit/berries, black currant, lemon, minerals and yogurt. Body is fine and balanced with a long lasting fruity/berry acidic aftertaste. Just when you thought you have taste it all an starts to get really fed up with generic fruity Berliner Weisse something like this appears and manage to be both classic and brilliant. Super refreshing and true to the original concept of a Berliner Weisse, got to love it.

Small pink fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, very hazy pinkish color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sorrel, berry skin, fruit stones, sour red berries, soda powder, hay, hints of black currants. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sorrel, soda powder, berry skin, fruit salt, sour red berries, hay, hints of black currants. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mineraly. Nice, but will only get better with some time since it's blood fresh...

Håndverkeren 100917. ABV 4,5 %. Purple color with a pinkish head. Aroma is sourness, black current. Flavor is sourness, black current, citrus, yeast. Refreshing easy drinkable beer.
