On tap at the brewpub. A hazy amber colored beer with a creamy light beige head leaving lacing. Diacetyl, bread, caramel, some roasted malts and a pleasant citrusy hop scent. Roasted malts, some coffee, bread, caramel and a pleasant bitterness in the flavor. Some sweetness. Full body and a bit hard carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee and bread in finish. A decent but rather ordinary beer. 170923

Tap @ Bakgården Både &. Unclear amber body with a nice, lacing tan head. Nice aroma of smooth toffee, caramel, toast, hint of yeast and fresh grass. Flavor is medium sweet brown malt, toffee, toast, some general fruitiness and rather sharp grassy bitterness that gets stronger as the beer heats up a little bit. Fine body with a little yeast aftertaste that fades behind a very sharp, grassy bitterness. Almost a bit like tasting hop pellets. Not exactly balanced in flavors but I really enjoy the overall impression here. Think a malty India Brown Ale or something in that direction.
