Bottle, at Duggfrisk. It pours a lightly foggy pale golden to straw colored body under a dense, white head. Acidity, milky sourness, pale malts and lemon in the aroma. Not much rhubarb actually, but that’s much more present in the flavor, and particularly in the finish. Some pale malts and milky sourness in the flavor, tart acidic lemon and rhubarb too. It’s dry and a bit heavy on the carbonation, but besides the carbonation part it’s a wonderful beer indeed. Delicious and lasting finish. Hope this beer is returning. 160820

Clear pale yellow color with a BIG white head. The hughe head made it a bit difficult to drink. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium body and not that rich carbonation. I expected a very high carbonation. Dry and sour oh yeah. If you do not like that. Do not buy. Nice rhubarb in the flavor.

375 ml bottle. Unclear yellow golden body with a small, lacing white head. Aroma is fruity and acidic with a more discrete rhubarb touch. A very pleasant aroma that opens for more nuanced flavors to come compared with the raspberry version of the same beer. The flavor is more in my personal taste as well compared with raspberry, a smooth kind of fruitiness that’s not only rhubarb but also a bit citric fruit. The acidic beer itself is still intact in the palate and results a much more complex beer, unlike the “in your face” flavor that many seems to prefer from a fruit beer. Body feels more balanced as well and the aftertaste is long lasting with the same moderate complexity. Delicious.

Gulbrun lett tåkete med høyt hvitt skum som blir raskt helt borte. Jaggu var det ikke rabarbralukt i denne gitt, samt gjær og noe rips. Middels fylde. Skikkelig rabarbrasmak, surt og noe syrlig. Lite sødme. Nydelig å sitte å nippe til. (Nippe altså, ikke nappe)
