Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: nesten helt klar, lys gylden med ok skum. Meget syrlig og frisk aroma og smak med intens citrus pluss stikkkelsbær, hvite rips og furunål/granskudd i bakgrunnen. Snerper fint mot slutten, en skikkelig ganerenser med lav voltstyrke. Utmerket aperitif!

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is kind of strange sour-ish, old rotten leafs, old lawn, sorrel, soda powder, minerals, citrus acid, hay, unripe berries, fresh hops, pine needles, hints of sulfur. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sorrel, soda powder, fresh hops, minerals, citrus acid, grass, unripe berries, citrus peel, hay. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Fair enough.

A bit dry texture and a pleasant mild acidity. Pale malt, citric, mild fruity, lactic and pine in the flavor. A quite fine and refreshing beer. Well done.

Bottle. Close to crystal clear in the glass, pale golden in colour and with a small white head. The aroma is sure on the tropical fruits side, with mango, peach, some lemon and a distinct sourish touch. Lime hints. It’s medium bodied, crisp and dry, with a very reasonable carbonation level. Lower than normal for a soured beer, but that’s very fine. Mango, passionfruit, lemon and hints of physalis in the flavor, with a sour touch, a faint touch of pale malts and a bitterness that I wouldn’t mind more pronounced. Lasting dry and fruity finish. Perhaps a bit one dimensional this one, but I love it. It’s refreshing and quenching as hell, and sure both looks, smells and tastes good. This bottle was a gift from the brewer, he sure got me hooked. 170410

330 ml bottle. Almost clear golden body with a white head. Absolute delicious aroma, fresh and fruity with grapefruit, grapes and citric fruit. Flavor is not completely living up to the aroma but it’s a refreshing fruity beer with some kind of lacto sourness and rather sharp bitterness. Medium body and acidic fruity aftertaste. Nice and refreshing, but a bit one-dimensional besides the great aroma.
