Bottle backlog May 2017. Clear, dark amber body with a small beige head. Quite strong aroma of coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet, dark chocolate, hint of coffe and bread/toast. Medium to light bodied and average aftertaste. Decent, but perhaps a bit plain.

Nice light amber creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, toast, weeds, sour-ish roasted grain, grass, bark, minerals, cereal, hay, burnt caramel, chocolate, hints of medicine. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, hay, roasted grain, minerals, bark, burnt toast, chocolate, grass, burnt caramel, hints of medicine. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh roasted mouthfeel. Boring.

KØLF050517.Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate , coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, bread. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Almost black color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Fine mellow aroma. Medium body and a pleasant carbonation level. Balanced mellow sweetness. Chocolate, some roast and bready flavor. Nice easy drinkable beer.

Bottle. Dark brown in color, with very little carbonation, intended according to the label, and with a minimal sized beige head that is really just a single bubble thin layer. Quite roasted, chocolate aroma with some charisma and coffee. A faint piney note lurks in the back. It’s medium bodied, smooth and low on carbonation, semi-dry and with a fine bitterness. Coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malts and some charcoal in the flavor, leading to a lasting dark malts dominated finish. Think I’d prefer the carbonation level to be higher, but it’s a fine brew anyway. 170407.
