Bottle as Ginger Ale. Almost clear pale golden body with a fast disappearing, small white head. Aroma has ginger and feels a bit soapy, quite nice. Flavor is mils, soft pale malt, not particular strong but distinct ginger, moderate bitterness. Medium body and ginger in aftertaste. I really like the ginger flavor in general and think this beer has a nice balanced take on the style, but it’s also very straight forward one-dimensional. So it’s sure has a fine, refreshing ginger flavor but otherwise it’s not very exciting as a beer, just nice enough.

Clear golden color with a fine white head. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness level. Not that prominent ginger level, and that suits me fine. I do not fancy that to much. Just my opinion. Mellow ginger, pale malt and herbal/grassy flavor.

Bottle, thx to the brewery. It pours an almost clear, golden colored body and a finger-thick short-lived white head. Some curtains. The aroma confirms the name, with the umistaken scent of soapy, lemony and herbal ginger, with a grassy touch in the far back. The flavor is pretty much the same at first, then some grainy pale malts and a sublte bitterness kicks in. There’s also a touch of something that might be lemongrass, but it’s just a complimentary flavor. It’s medium bodied, crisp and nicely carbonated, with a bitter, ginger-ish finish. A weak but nice ginger burn visits the throat after a good while. Most ginger beers are too much on the ginger side for me, but this is done in a pleasant way, where the ginger is sure present, but it’s not playing both the lead role and all the supporting roles. Sure a beer I could repeat on a hot day. 170324
