On tap at Både&. It pours a dark brown body under a small, dense light beige head. Some lacing. There’s lots of dried figs and dates in the aroma, with some roasted malts and a generic fruityness. Its full bodied, faintly warming and a bit too smooth. Lacks a bit on carbonation I think. The flavor isn’t sweet, but still feeling too sweetish, with dried fruits and some brown sugar. Lasting dried fruits dominated finish. A bit too focused on the dried fruits this one. 170121

Bakgaarden Både & 130117. Dark brown color with a beige head. aroma is figs, dried fruits, roasted malt, caramel. Flavor is figs, dried fruits, roasted malt, caramel, berries, sourness, coffee, chocolate . Lovely aroma, but flavor is a little bit ordinary.

On tap @ the brewpub. Unclear dark brown body with a moderate sized beige head. Aroma is mild roasted malt, caramel, dry fruit and fig. Flavor is a bit sweet and sour, sweet malt with light fruity sourness, sweet dry fruit, figs and low bitterness. Nice body and sweet, ling lasting aftertaste. OK but ends up too sticky sweet after a few sips, not too sure about the figs either.

Utseende: Mørk brun.
Skum/kullsyre: Tynt skum, ring langs kant.
Smak: Milde syrlige frukter og vanilje.
Hvor: Melkebaren, Sandnes.

Transparent nutty color with a fine tan head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium to full body and fine soft carbonation. Decent nice sweetness and an oily texture. Fruity, toffee, figs and some sipces in the flavor.
