I made it to the Heretic tap takeover at CBB Bud. Heretic make America Juicy Again NEIPA 6.5% 40 IBU Milky honey gold with a thick juicy aroma, there’s gotta be mosaic in this! Medium bodied with a scratchy carbonation. The taste is of a solid NE IPA - peppery, juicy tropical fruits. Apparently, limited to one pour per person. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beaverfest Day 1. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Light palate, dry and with decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, sweetish. Smooth floral mid. Light but fresh orange. Touches of tangerine and orange peel. Light dry finish. Bitter orange peel linger. Decent.

Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day one, 09/09/17. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is pine needle, gresh grass, dank chime, orange pith. Taste comprises grapefruit, toasted malts, tangerine, melon, pine needle, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in a light drying close. Ok old Skoolish IPA.

On tap at Enoteca. Pours cloudy golden with a thick pillow white head with great retention. Taste is dry with light bitterness that builds after repeated sips. Lots of juicy hop flavor--orange creamsicle, passion fruit, grapefruit. Tasty.

On tap at Mongers. Pours a somewhat hazy orange hue with a large white head. A big funky fruity nose. Juicy sweet hops, mango, bursting hop notes, light toasted malt base. Great.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a crisp fresh yeasty grassy grapefruit citrus, light tart, light peppermint hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can from the Co-Op. I love the simplicity of the can, just a subtle white label on a silver can. Nothing fancy and it doesn’t need to be. Great beer inside, right? Right. Pours the trendy new flat yellow/straw color that is more than hazy, it’s murky. Big time aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Sweet and inviting. The taste is full of more fruity sweetness and moderate bitters. Citrus and tropical fruits. Mango. Very smooth, easy to drink, also easy to look past the 6.5% abv. Nice version of the new hazy fruity IPA. Heretic nailed it on this one. Love the name too.

On tap at Bier:thirty Cloudy light beige yellow full dry sticky off white head and hard clumpy lacing. Tropical and citrusy aroma with a light of citrus peel flavors. Dry and squeaky sharp and crisp.

On tap at prefunk Boise. Pours out a hazy cloudy orange juice color topped with a white head. Nose is nice tropical fruit hops some light dank weed notes. Taste is more of the nice tropical fruit hops some light malts and a sweet juicy end.
