From september 2019 till may 2020, Belgium remembers that its liberation from WOII was 75 years ago.
For this occasion we brewed this beer. We added 100% Belgian Hops (Belgian Magnum for bitterness and Gouden Bel as Aroma hop).

Donker bruin tot zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is licht bitterzuur en fruitig met iets van rode bessen. Geslaagd bier voor mij.

Clear brown beer, small creamy beige head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: soft roast, some caramel, bit fruity, yeast, some banana, spicy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish start, soft bitterness, spicy, bitter, some rum. Aftertaste: spicy, weird, sourish, overripe fruits, some apples, pears, sweet touch.

Pours lighter brown, with a reddish glow. Small white head. Smell is caramelly, medium light intensity. Taste is a tad bitter, medium dry, mild sweetness. Some caramelly notes. Milder brown malts. Decent, very good in style though !
