500ml bottle bought at Storo Ølutsalg. Good looking in the glass with its clear, dark brownish body, topped by a decent beige head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Slightly roasted brown malty aromas, mid-sweet, promising. Blended taste profile with nutty caramel, dried and dark fruits. Drying close with lightly roasted brown malts. Yutetide feel, alright. Big fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, leafs, roasted grain, grass, fruit stones, hay, minerals, caramel malts, nuts, soil, hints of dried fruits. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, hay, weeds, minerals, grass, sour-ish roasted grain, bark, fruit stones, soil, raisins, metal tank, toast. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle. Almost clear amber body with a big tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, nutshell and pine. Flavor is medium sweet, harsh caramel and hint of bread. Thin bodied and short in aftertaste. Nothing exiting going on, pretty one-dimensional and a bit unbalanced as well.

Bottle. An unclear reddish brown beer with a finger-thick light beige head. Bread, something sourish, dried fruits and caramel, with hints of chocolate in the aroma. A bit gentle I think, both aroma and flavor. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and a bit low on carbonation, with flavors of bread, caramel, dark dried fruits and some chocolate. Medium length finish. A rather uninteresting one, failing to be anything Christmas-ish. 190709

KØLF 110119. Dark brown color with a tan head. Flavor is roasted malt, bread, herbs, coffee. Boring beer.
